The Work and Vision behind the Association for Women

Nowadays, after being a long time indifferent to what happened in our country, people have started to reflect about solutions for solving some problems. The idea on an association of women came to me while we were building a church. First, I noticed the fact of working together gave everybody strength, courage and motivation. All this work was done with the cooperation of women. We felt like enjoying the activity because of songs and inspiring words which came from these women. At this moment, I realized that this union would be a great help for many young people in need.

Indeed, three months later, to my big surprise, they all approved the idea of creating an association. It must be noted that several women are used to staying home without doing anything, so in order to create an activity for them, we discussed about creating this association whose goal was to support youth in our town.

This association has focused its vision on two essential problems of young people: the issue of young people who gave up studies because of lack of support, and also those who stopped studying for whatever reason and usually live in the road without any job.

For the first problem, the association decided to register everyone and distribute a scholarship to each at the beginning of every year. This scholarship includes books, notebooks, pens and almost all a student needs to use in school. Moreover each of the students has been asked to work in our garden activities in order to raise Money for their daily food.

In addition to that, we thought that all young people who usually stay in the road, like orphans, also needed to be helped. In fact, we started by discussion with each of them to know what they wanted to do, even if they didn’t succeed in school. The difficulties were their thoughts about their life. They were all quite convinced that their failure in school had erased their change to succeed in life.

With that problem, we started to find each of them a job, even if they didn’t know anything before. After several times, all of them worked and started to create by themselves other things. Thus association of women which has been created to support certain young people has had today a great impact in our town.
